Ladies how do i handle this situation with this girl i really like???

imoved back home recently and started talking to this girl i knew. we first just msged on myspace then txt & talked. she's been divorced and has two kids, but that doesn't scare me. we went out 2 and had an awesome time. i could tell she liked me since she asked me out for the 2 date and kissed me. after our 2 date the next day she told me she was scared of getting hrt in another relationship cause she's been screwed over . i told her i like her, want to make something out of this, but respect her fears and what she wants. she said she thought that was awesome how i handled it. now the prob is i still want this girl, i really feel like something could come of this but i've nvr had 2 do this before. can these things be worth waiting for or could i b setting myself up for heartbreak? we dont talk as much since that talk but we see eachother round town and msg eachother. should i just pull away and see what she does? i've already told her how i feel but she's not ready. HELP
