Why hasn't Melo receive the backlash Lebron did for leaving the team who drafted him to join a power team?

The only reason Denver traded him was they was afraid he would have left in the offseason. Lebron team was unable to trade him because he was a free agent. Also their sign and trade deal gave them a 16 mil trade exception they could use to acquire a star (not superstar) like an Andre Igoudala or a good and solid player like a Devin Harris and Morrow.
