Why is there a statue of Mark Twain in the Vienna ad??

In the Ad for Delta Airlines that says 'VIENNA' on it, advertised here on Y.A., why is there a staue of some guy who looks like Mark Twain playing a violin. I know it isn't Sam Clemmons, but who is that guy actually supposed to be?? :)
