Should doctorates in religious studies be forbidden to use the same forms that ones in real science use ?

to prevent confusion on the part of gullible people who think these people might actually be able to understand real science ? For instance instead of Dr Kent Hovind should he be referred to as Religious Dingbat or RD Kent Hovind . This has precedence as lawyers are referred to as LDs and Registered Nurses are RNs we need a way to distinguish hard science from ignorance don't we ?
