Should I get I dwarf rabbit or two?

So, I'm moving and changing schools. As a (I guess compromise, don't remember the actual word) my mom agreed to let me get a dwarf bunny. I've been wanting one forever. I had one when I was four, but she died when I was seven. I was really sad. Now I'm fourteen and I want to know if it is better to get one dwarf bunny or two. If I only get one, will it get lonely? I'm going to be with it probably most of the day. Excluding when I'm at school, asleep, etc. My mom probably won't want to get me two, so if it's better to have two, I probably won't get one. Also, can they go outside? When I had my bunny, Snowy, I would take her outside sometimes. Not all the time. I probably only took her outside about four times while she was still alive and only for half an hour at the most. Supervised, of course. Please, rabbit owners, specialists, etc. any advice on how to give better care would be well received. I am going to do a ton of more research before I get one, which will probably be in December.
